Andrew Nicol
Managing Partner
Hi, I'm Andrew, the Managing Partner here at Opes. Ever since we started the company, I've spent my time working between our two offices and out with clients, getting them excited about investing.
In my role as Managing Partner at Opes, our team has had the privilege of helping Kiwis create wealth plans and retire comfortably through property investment. Personally, I've been instrumental in assisting hundreds clients in their journey to financial security.
I bought my first property at age 19 and built my own portfolio with what my friends describe as my signature "passion, drive, and refusal to quit." Today, I'm the proud owner of over 40 investment properties, a testament to my commitment to property investment.
I also share my insights as a writer for both NZ Property Investor Magazine and Informed Investor Magazine. My expertise is widely recognized, and I'm regularly called upon by the media to comment on property-related issues.
I don't have a lot of spare time, but I love to spend it socializing with friends and family. I'm a keen art collector – one of my most interesting pieces is a taxidermy sculpture from a Lyttelton artist who merged a Lynx cat and goat to create a mythical beast.
For even more inspiration, check out the success stories of clients we have worked with. Witness firsthand the incredible transformations ordinary Kiwis have achieved through property investment. These are the journeys that fuel my passion every single day.
